Removing

• ‒ Drain off coolant => Page 19-7.
• ‒ Remove toothed belt =>Page 13-36.
• ‒ → Screw out bolts -1- of coolant pump and remove coolant pump -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Note:

Always replace gaskets and sealing rings.

• ‒ Clean/smooth sealing surface for O-ring.
• ‒ → Moisten new O-ring -3- with coolant G 012 A8 D.
• ‒ Insert coolant pump -2-.
• ‒ Installation position: Plug in housing facing downwards

• ‒ Tighten fuel pump bolts -1-.
• ‒ Install toothed belt (adjust valve timing) => Page 13-44.
• ‒ Fill cooling system with coolant => Page 19-11.

Tightening torque
