Notes:

◆ Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats can continue to be used without shortening their useful lives provided the cracks are only slight - max. 0.5 mm wide.

◆ The entire coolant is to be renewed on replacing cylinder head or cylinder head gasket.

◆ Reworking diesel cylinder heads is not permitted.

◆ When installing a replacement cylinder head with the camshaft fitted, the contact faces between the bucket tappet and the cam slideway must be oiled after installing the head.

◆ The plastic pads supplied for protection of the open valves are not to be removed until immediately prior to fitting cylinder head.
