| An external distinguishing feature of the “engine generations II” and “III” is the shape of the cylinder head cover: |

| B - | “Engine generation III” (from approx. 04.1997) |

| “Engine generation II” cylinder heads may only be fitted on an “engine generation II” cylinder block. A combination of the two versions is not permitted. |
