Note:

Sender for low fuel level -G210 cannot be replaced separately.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• ◆ V.A.G 1526 A

• ◆ V.A.G 1594 A

Test sequence

• ‒ Detach floor trim in luggage compartment.
• ‒ Unbolt cover for flange.
• ‒ → Unplug connector -1-.

• ‒ → Measure resistance at contacts -1- and -2- on flange.
• ‒ Fuel level in baffle housing OK:
  Specification approx: 430 ω
• ‒ Fuel level in baffle housing too low:
  Specification approx: 100 ω
• ‒ If resistance reading is 0 ωor ∞ ω, this indicates a short circuit or open circuit in wiring in tank.

Note:

To check the two resistance values, remove fuel delivery unit =>Page 20-84. Measure resistance values with fuel delivery unit in normal position and turned upside down.
