Notes:

• ◆ Please ensure that no Diesel fuel contacts coolant hoses. If necessary clean hose immediately.
• ◆ Observe disposal regulations!

Removing

• ‒ → Pull off retaining clip -4-.
• ‒ Take off control valve -5- with fuel hoses connected.
• ‒ Disconnect fuel hoses -2- and -3- from hose connections.
• ‒ Loosen clamp -1- on bracket and take filter out of bracket.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

• ‒ Push plastic insert onto new filter.

• ‒ Fill new filter with clean diesel. This will enable the engine to start more quickly.
• ‒ Watch O-ring in filter housing when fitting control valve.
• ‒ Install control valve with fuel pipes connected.

• ‒ → Fit retaining clip -4-.
• ‒ Push fuel hoses -2- and -3- onto hose connections and secure with hose clips.
• ‒ Start engine and check fuel system for leaks (visual check).
