| The reader coil is integrated into the lock cylinder and cannot be renewed separately. |

| The complete lock cylinder must be replaced if the reader coil is defective. |

| Remove lock cylinder for steering/ignition lock → Chapter. |

| Install replacement lock cylinder with any lock number, but do not change the door locks. |
Note | The customer will have to use two different keys for the vehicle until the new lock cylinder is supplied. |

| Order a new lock cylinder with vehicle-specific lock number from your importer (or distribution centre), quoting vehicle identification number. |

| Exchange replacement lock cylinder with ordered, vehicle-specific lock cylinder. |
