One aerial amplifier is located at both the left and right rear side windows, two at the rear window.

Removing and installing TV aerial amplifier at rear window

Removing

• ‒ Remove tailgate trim

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 70; Avant trims; Removing and installing tailgate trim

• ‒ → Disconnect electrical connectors.
• ‒ Remove screw -2- (2.5 Nm) and remove TV aerial amplifier.
• ‒ The TV aerial amplifier is equipped with an anti-twist element which fixes the amplifier in position in hole -3-.

Installing:

• ‒ Installation is performed in the reverse sequence to removal.

Removing

• ‒ Remove left or right side trim in luggage compartment

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 70; Avant trims; Removing and installing left and right side trims

• ‒ → Disconnect electrical connectors -3- and -4- from TV aerial amplifier.
• ‒ Remove screw -2- (2.5 Nm) and detach TV aerial amplifier -1-.
• ‒ In addition to the screw connection, the TV aerial amplifier is held in position by an anti-twist element.

Installing:

• ‒ Installation is performed in the reverse sequence to removal.
