Removing and installing coolant pipe (top) Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Hose clip pliers -V.A.G 1921-

Removing –  Drain off coolant → Chapter. –  Disconnect air pipe -arrow-.

–  Disconnect air pipes -1- and -2-. –  Detach hose on underside of air pipe and take out air pipe.

–  Detach air intake pipe from throttle valve module -arrows-.

–  Disconnect hose -arrow- from fuel pressure regulator.

–  Unscrew bolts -1- and -2- and detach top coolant pipe from coolant hoses -arrows-. Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:   Note Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Parts catalogue. –  Fill cooling system → Anchor. Tightening torques
