Unplugging electrical connector at coolant temperature display senderG2 - vehicles with 1.9 ltr. TDI engine
Unplugging electrical connector at coolant temperature display sender -G2- - vehicles with 1.9 ltr. TDI engine
   
Preparations
–  Pull oil dipstick -1- out of guide tube.
–  Unclip caps.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and detach engine cover.
–  Remove insulation beneath cover.
–  Re-insert dipstick in guide tube.

–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Remove air pipe -arrows-.

–  Unplug electrical connector -3- at coolant temperature display sender -G2-/-G62-.
  Note
Disregard -Item 1-, -Item 2- and -Item 4-.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  Note
t  Hose flanges and hoses for charge air system must be free from oil and grease before fitting.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Parts catalogue.
