Unplugging electrical connector at coolant temperature display senderG2 - vehicles with 2.4 ltr. MPI engine

Unplugging electrical connector at coolant temperature display sender -G2- - vehicles with 2.4 ltr. MPI engine

Procedure

–	Remove engine cover -arrows-.

–	Remove air intake hose between air mass meter -G70- and air duct at intake manifold -arrows-.

–	Unplug electrical connectors -2- and -4-.

–	Carefully detach vacuum hoses -1, 3, 5, 6, 7-.

–	Unbolt retaining plate for solenoid valves -arrows-.

–	Pull off vacuum hose leading to combination valves for secondary air.

–	Unscrew bolt -arrow- and pull off air duct -2- at throttle valve module -J338-.

–	If fitted, pull off hose -1- at air duct.

Note

For illustration purposes the air duct is shown from the rear with the engine removed.

–	Unplug electrical connector -2- at coolant temperature display sender -G2-/-G62-.

Disregard -item 1-.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
