Removing and installing trim for backrest bracket
Removing and installing trim for backrest bracket
   
Removing
–  Remove centre armrest -3- → Chapter.
–  Press padding with cover -1- to side and unscrew bolt -4- for trim for backrest bracket -2-.

–  Grasp hold of bottom edge of trim for backrest bracket -2- and pull it as far as possible off cover for backrest bracket -1- in direction of -arrow-.
–  When doing so, disengage retaining tabs -4- and -5-.
  Note
Ignore -item 3-.

–  Pull trim for backrest bracket -1- off cover for backrest bracket -2- in direction of -arrow- and at the same time disengage catches -top arrows-.
–  Take out trim for backrest bracket.
Installing
  Caution
Catches on top of trim for backrest bracket could be damaged during removal.
–  Check trim for backrest bracket -1- for damage in area of catches -top arrows- and renew if necessary.
Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
Tightening torques → Chapter
  A72-10698
