  Note
t  The following illustration shows the positions of the components on an Audi A5 Coupé. The layout may differ slightly on the Audi A5 Sportback, Audi A4, Audi Q5 etc. The components are however to be removed and installed in the same manner as described for the Audi A5 Coupé.

t  The vent in the rear centre console is to be removed in the same manner as the dash panel vents → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
  Caution
To avoid damaging the dash panel vent on removal, do not engage the hook -3438--A- at the slats of the vents -B- and -C-.
–  Switch off the ignition.
–  Open the appropriate vent.
–  Insert the hook -3438--A- in the vent as shown.
–  Swivel the hook -3438--A- by approx. 90° towards the vent housing and insert the hook in the disassembly holes in the vent housing.
–  Carefully pull the appropriate dash panel vent -B- or -C- out of the dash panel.
