A - Locating pins
q   Not fitted in all vehicles
q   When clutch module -2- is bolted onto drive plate -1-, locating pins -A- (if provided) must engage in locating holes -B-
B - Locating hole
q   When clutch module -2- is bolted onto drive plate -1-, locating pins -A- (if provided) must engage in locating holes -B-
  Caution
An incorrectly installed clutch causes functional problems.
If the locating pins on the drive plate -A- are not located in the holes on the clutch module -B-, this will cause serious clutch malfunctions.
1 - Drive plate
q   4-cylinder engine: 3 holes with threaded sleeves
q   6-cylinder or 8-cylinder engine: 6 holes with threaded sleeves
q   With needle bearing
q   Removing and installing → Engine, mechanics; Rep. gr.13
2 - Clutch module
q   With flange for drive plate
q   Components: dual-mass flywheel, clutch plate and clutch pressure plate
q   Removing and installing → Servicing 6-speed manual gearbox 0B1, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.30
q   Servicing → Servicing 6-speed manual gearbox 0B1, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.30
3 - Bolt
q   60 Nm
q   Secures dual-mass flywheel to drive plate
q   4-cylinder engine: 3x
q   6-cylinder or 8-cylinder engine: 6x
q   Always renew
q   Follow correct tightening sequence → Chapter
