Removing and installing microphone unit in front roof moduleR164

Removing and installing microphone unit in front roof module -R164-

The microphone unit in front roof module -R164- in the front interior light -W1- can only be renewed as a complete unit.

–	Switch off all electrical equipment.

–	Remove ignition key.

Removing

–	Remove front interior light -W1- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96.

–	Unclip connector -5- from retainer in front interior light -W1- and unplug.

–	Pry the individual microphones -1-, -3- and -4- out of the retainer.

Installing

–	Install in reverse sequence of removal.
