Remove front right wheel.

-

Remove generator => [ Generator, 6-Cylinder ] See: Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Generator.

-

Remove heat shield for right drive shaft - arrows -. 

-

Disconnect cable for terminal B+ - 2 -.

-

Disconnect connector for terminal 50 - 1 -.

-

Remove heat shield - 3 - from solenoid switch.

-

Remove starter mounting bolts - arrows -, detach starter.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

Install generator, observe instructions for connecting battery.
