Assembling

-

Make sure the selector lever is in "S".

-

Swing locking lever - 11 - fully upwards.

-

Slide selector lever - 6 - into the selector mechanism function unit - 14 - from underneath.

-

Connect locking levers for Tiptronic - 4 - and -  18 - as well as bushings - 3 - and - 15 - on selector lever.

-

Install selector lever - 6 - and bearing bushings into the selector lever function unit - 14 -. Secure it with a securing clasp - 17 -.

-

Secure retaining bracket - 2 - and - 16 - to the selector mechanism function unit.

-

Push pivot pins - 5 - and - 19 - into selector lever - 6 - until they engage.

-

Check whether mounting pins in Tiptronic locking lever engage.

-

Install Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) -  7 -. Refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid ] See: Actuators and Solenoids - A/T/Shift Interlock Solenoid/Service
and Repair.

-

Clip gate - 12 - to the function unit - 14  - and tighten to 0.4 Nm.

Retaining Spring Locking Cable, Removing and Installing
