‹› Installation position: The angled end of the securing clasp faces toward the inside of the shift mechanism.

Install locking cable. Refer to => [ Locking Cable ] See: Shift Interlock/Shift Interlock Cable/Service and Repair.

Adjust locking cable. Refer to => [ Locking Cable Adjusting ] See: Shift Interlock/Shift Interlock Cable/Adjustments/Locking Cable Adjusting.

Adjust selector lever cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Checking and Adjusting ] See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Selector Lever Cable, Checking and Adjusting.

Tighten driveshaft on the transmission.

Install exhaust system tension-free.
