Selector Mechanism, Removing and Installing

Selector mechanism, removing and installing - 09L, 6 Speed AWD A/T

Note:  The following procedure describes how to remove and install the selector mechanism without the selector lever cable, i.e. the selector lever
cable remains in the vehicle.

Removing

-

Remove selector lever handle.

-

Open ashtray on center console and remove trim - arrows -.

-

Remove air conditioning control console.

-

Remove ashtray from center console.

-

Release 4 retainers - arrows - and lift off cover - 1 - including guide.

-

Disconnect electrical connector from side of guide.

-

Disconnect electrical connector from Shift lock solenoid Shift lock solenoid N110.

-

Unhook locking cable - arrows -.

-

Shift selector lever to position "S".
