Remove 12V socket (U5) from the lighting ring with the socket illumination (L42) using the release tool (T40148).

Disconnect electrical connector.

Release retaining clip in direction of - arrow -. 

-

Remove illumination ring - 1 - with the socket illumination (L42) from the center console storage compartment - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Remove support - 1 - on the release tool (T40148).
