Socket Illumination

Socket Illumination

-

Remove 12 V socket => [ 12V Socket 2 ] See: Power and Ground Distribution/Auxiliary Power Outlet/Service and Repair/12V Socket 2.

Release retaining clip in direction of - arrow -. 

-

Remove illumination ring - 1 - with socket illumination (L42) from center console rear trim -  2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

The illumination ring can only be inserted in the mount in one position.

Install the 12 V socket => [ 12V Socket 2 ] See: Power and Ground Distribution/Auxiliary Power Outlet/Service and Repair/12V Socket 2.
