Ribbed belt

‹› Check for wear

‹› Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker. Reversing direction of rotation of a run-in belt can destroy the belt 

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Ribbed Belt

‹› When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys

20 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn) 

‹› Replace

Generator

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => Starting and Charging See: Starting and Charging

Cap for idler pulley

Idler roller for ribbed belt

‹› Tighten to 40 Nm
