AFFECTED VEHICLES

CONDITION

^ No sound from all audio sources on vehicles without separate amplifier (standard sound system).

^ No sound, only from the radio on vehicles with separate amplifier (premium sound system, Bose or Bang & Olufsen). All other audio sources function

normally.

Tip: This TSB does not apply to vehicles with a separate amplifier and the complaint "No sound from all audio sources."

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Hardware-related issue in the radio.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

New radio hardware and new software (ZUG 0114).

SERVICE

Replace the radio and update the software of the 3G MMI system.

Tip: Refer to your parts department for the correct radio part number.

Tip: For successful results, the steps must be performed in this sequence.

1. Check 3G MMI system software version

2. Update software of the 3G MMI system

3. Perform feedback documentation to the SVM
