Multimedia Control Head

Multimedia Control Head

Multimedia Control Head (E380) is fastened with screws to the center console.

The Parking Brake Contact Switch (F321) is attached to the Multimedia Control Head (E380). This must be removed.

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Remove front center console. 

-

Disconnect all electrical connectors at the Multimedia Control Head (E380).

-

Carefully release retaining clips - 1 -, -  2 -, - 3 - and - 6 - at decorative frame -  5 - using a small screwdriver.

-

Remove decorative frame - 5 - upward from Multimedia Control Head (E380) - 4 -.

-

Rotate the center console.

-

Remove screws - arrows - (3 Nm) and remove Multimedia Control Head (E380) - 1 - upward out of center console - 2 -.
