Alarm Horn: Service and Repair

Alarm Horn

Component location: In plenum chamber at front between E-box, right, and blower box.

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove rubber seal - 1 - on plenum chamber cover. 

-

Remove plenum chamber cover - 2 -.

-

Remove nut - 2 - for Alarm Horn (H12).

-

Remove nut - 3 - for bracket - 1 -. 

-

Pull bracket out of blower box - arrow - and remove mounting from plenum chamber.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector and remove Alarm Horn (H12) from plenum chamber.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

When installing bracket, observe rubber bushing for blower box.
