Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051

Turn off all electrical components.

-

Remove ignition key. 

Removing 

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

-

Open left luggage compartment storage bin. 

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin: 

-

Remove left luggage compartment side trim. 

All vehicles:

-

Loosen nuts - 2 - and - 4 - (5 Nm) and screw - 3 - (5 Nm) on Infotainment rack - 3 -.

-

Tip rack into luggage compartment until screws on Digital TV Tuner R171 - 1 - can be reached. 

-

Disconnect all connectors on Digital TV Tuner R171 - 1 -. 

-

Remove screw - 2 - (5 Nm). 

A retaining plate - 4 - is installed on Digital TV Tuner R171 - 1 -. The Digital TV Tuner R171 - 1 - with retaining plate - 4 - is slid into clips on
bottom of rack. 

-

Raise Digital TV Tuner R171 up out of clips and from rack. 

-

Remove screws - 5 - (5 Nm) and remove retaining plate - 4 - from Digital TV Tuner R171 - 1 -. 

Installing
