Condenser

‹› Condenser is available in different versions, depending on version of vehicle. 

‹› In contrast to vehicles with other engines, vehicles with the 10-cyl. TFSI engine (Audi RS6) have a condenser with a smaller interior volume

installed. For this reason, the refrigerant fill volume is slightly less in a 10-cyl. TFSI engine than in other engines.

‹› Removed condenser contains refrigerant oil which must be restored to the refrigerant system.

‹› The radiator and condenser may have small indentations on the fins even when installed correctly. It is not damage. Do not replace the radiator or

condenser because of those small indentations.

Removing

-

Drain the refrigerant circuit.

Remove the front bumper cover and the bumper cover holder-.  A 

-

Remove the air ducts - B - and - C -. 

‹› Remove the screws - arrows - to remove the air ducts. 

-

Remove the top water cooler (e.g. for Audi RS6, not present in all versions).

Additionally for the Audi RS6, remove the right coolant hose by loosening clamp - 1 -.
