Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair
Clutch Pedal and Clutch Control

Note:  Grease all bearing points and friction surfaces with white solid lubricating paste, Part No. AOS 726 000 05.

WARNING!  Pedal travel must not be restricted by extra carpets or floor mats.

1. Locking clip

-

Always replace

-

Secures clutch pedal to shaft

2. Clutch pedal

-

Secured in position by adjusting the clevis

-

Install on pedal bracket shaft

Bushing is injection-molded and cannot be replaced

-

Supplied as replacement part with bushing

3. Locking clip

-

Need not be removed to remove over-center spring

4. Over-center spring

-

Grease with solid white lubricant before assembling

-

Removing and installing: refer to "Over-Center Spring". See: 

5. Hose

WARNING!  Fluid hose from master cylinder must not touch over-center spring.

6. Clip

-

Holds hose to pedal bracket

7. Pedal bracket
8. Self-locking nut

-

Always replace

-

25 Nm (18 ft lb) 

9. Return spring for brake pedal

-

To install, attach one end to brake pedal, other end to pedal bracket

10. Brake pedal

-

Install on pedal bracket shaft

11. Clip

-

Always replace
