Attach parking brake cables and adjust parking brake.

-

Pour in gear oil.

Refer to Specifications and Capacity.

Bolt on cover plate.

-

Bolt on driveshaft.

-

Install exhaust system.

Tightening torques

-

Driveshaft to flanged shaft: 55 Nm (41 ft lb) 

Notes: 
-

Bolts are micro-encapsulated with locking compound.

-

Always install new bolts.

-

Clean the threads in the flanged shaft.

-

Final drive to crossmember I:  45 Nm (33 ft lb) 

-

Bracket to final drive: 25 Nm (18 ft lb) 

-

Cover to final drive: 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
