Trunk / Liftgate Hinge: Service and Repair
Rear Lid Hinge
‹› If both hinges and rear lid are replaced, hinges must first be attached to rear lid and then rear lid attached in position flush to vehicle with nuts.
‹› Follow bolt tightening sequence when doing so.

Combination screw
‹› Follow combination screw tightening sequence.
‹› Tighten screws in sequence item - 1 -: - 3 - and then to position - 2 - to 21 Nm.
‹› 21 Nm

‹› Do not remove when removing rear lid.
‹› Screw secures adjusting piece - 5 - to lid.
‹› 21 Nm
