Headliner Without Slide/tilt Sunroof, Installing

Installing and securing headliner

-

Tilt front back rests toward rear.

-

Place selector lever in rear most position.

-

Remove rear head rests.

-

Insert headliner diagonally into vehicle interior through the opened passenger door.

-

Remove protective foil for adhesive from headliner.

-

Secure headliner lengthwise using sun visor mounts - 5 - (tighten sun visor screws slightly).

NOTE:

-

Pull headliner downward slightly at center - A - and - B - in area of adhesive surface so that headliner does not get stuck on in incorrect
position.

-

Headliner must be supported by a second mechanic at rear so that it does not bend.

-

Guide electrical wire for interior lighting through opening.
-

Guide clips - 2 - remain at chassis - 3 - when removing headliner - 1 -.

-

Press headliner - 1 - into guide clips - 2 - before headliner touches roof in area of adhesive surface (shaded area).

NOTE:  When rolling on, use only enough pressure with roller on headliner to stick adhesive to roof but not enough that pressure marks are left
