Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

Sunroof Motor, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  The sunroof must be closed to remove or install the sunroof motor (cable mechanism and sunroof motor must be in zero position).

For interior light

Unclip in downward direction

For sunroof motor
-

Remove bolt - 8 - and pull out of clips toward front.

Torx(R) bolts (3x)
-

3 Nm (27 in.lb.)

Harness connector
-

At sunroof motor
-

Disconnect harness connector.

Sliding roof motor

Harness connector
-

For interior light
-

Disconnect harness connector.
