Disconnect both coolant hoses from engine to pump valve unit (-A- and -B-) and mark installation position of hoses.

Hold coolant hose -A- in a container.

Remove plenum cover and cover for electronic box.

Carefully blow coolant out of the pump valve unit and heater cores through the coolant hose -B- with compressed air.

NOTE:

Pinch off upper coolant hose to each of the two heater cores alternatively so that the coolant is blown out of both heater cores.

Mark coolant hoses -A- and -B- and disconnect from the pump valve unit to the heater cores at the coolant hoses.

Separate electrical connections to air conditioner housing (pay attention to Ground cable to A-pillar).

-

Disconnect condensation drain hoses from air conditioner housing.

-

Disconnect coolant hoses to the evaporator and seal.
