Shift Interlock Cable: Adjustments
Adjusting
Special tools required
^
Adjustment tool 3352 A for ignition interlock cable
^
Loosen bolt -1-.
-
The retaining bracket -2- must be movable by hand
^
Attach tool 3352 A between interlock pin and interlock cable eye.
^
Pull interlock cable in direction of arrow and tighten bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
^
Remove adjustment tool.
^
After each adjustment of the interlock cable check the function of the interlock.
