‹› Removal:

‹› Using a screwdriver, lift securing springs slightly at both ends in succession and pull off gas-filled strut from ball studs.

‹› Installing:

‹› Install with tube end of strut at rear lid.

‹› Clip in gas-filled strut at bottom first, then at top.

Right Lid Hinge

‹› In vehicles without rear lid drive motor, mounting bracket is secured with an additional bolt.

3 - Right Hinge

4 - Bolt

‹› 23 Nm

‹› Only installed in vehicles without electric rear lid drive motor.
