Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2).

‹› Tightening torque: 4 Nm.

Remove bearing - 1 -.

Roof Reinforcement

‹› Installed only on vehicles without sunroof.

‹› Consoles for mounting molded headliner at front - 3 - and rear - 4 - are bonded to the roof reinforcement and is not a replacement part by itself.

Removing

-

Remove molded headliner => [ Molded Headliner ].

-

Carefully pull off roof reinforcement - 1 - from roof, starting at rear.

Installing

-

Apply new adhesive between adhesive beads - 2 -.

-

For a new roof: Apply new adhesive at recessed areas - 2 -.

-

Use adhesive with part number: D 190 MKD A3.

-

A 2 hour wait time is required before installing molded headliner.
