Lower B-pillar Trim, Removing And Installing

Lower B-pillar trim
Removing
-

Unclip lower A-pillar trim in area of B-pillar.

-

Unclip wheel housing trim in area of B-pillar.

-

Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).

-

Unfasten lower B-pillar trim - 2 - at clips - 1 - (2x) and pull trim forwards.

-

Pull lower B-pillar trim - 2 - upward and in doing so remove air duct - 4 -.

-

Disconnect connector for ventilation system illumination - 5 -.

Installing

NOTE:  Take care not to trap belt when Installing trim.

Connect connector for ventilation system light - 5 -.

-

Guide air duct - 4 - into recess at sill panel shell.

-

Press on lower B-pillar trim - 2 -.

-

Screw in bolts - 3 - (2x).

-

Clip in lower A-pillar trim and wheel housing trim.

CAUTION:  Make sure trim is a firm fit.

-

Make sure rubber door seal is properly fitted over B-pillar trim - 2 -.
