Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Removal and Replacement

Vibration Damper

Removing

‹› Lock carrier is pulled toward the front. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier, Pulling Toward the Front ] See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier/Service and

‹› Ribbed belt is removed. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Ribbed Belt.

Remove the vibration damper from the crankshaft by removing the bolts - 1 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

When installing, make sure that the notch - arrow - in the vibration damper aligns with the locating lug on the toothed belt gear.

Tightening Specifications
