Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair
Low Beam Bulb
Halogen Headlamps
Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Service Precautions.
‹› Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment.
Low Beam Bulb
Removing
-
Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Turn light switch into "0" position.

Remove appropriate front wheel.

Remove appropriate front wheel housing liner.

Loosen locking bolt - 1 - a few turns.

Release retainer tabs - arrows - and detach low beam housing cover from headlamp housing.

Turn socket counter-clockwise - arrow - and remove from headlamp housing.

Remove bulb - 1 - from socket - 2 -.
