Fuel range display sender, checking

Note

If fuel tank contents are not the same as displayed quantity, display can be adjusted with screw in side of instrument cluster

-

disconnect 35-point connector from instrument cluster (not illustrated)

FUEL RANGE DISPLAY SENDER

-

connect US 1119 between contact 24 and ground

-

measure resistance

380.0 ohm - tank empty

^

40.0 ohm - tank full

If specified values are not obtained, - repair break in wiring according to wiring diagram OR
-

replace defective fuel range display sender

If specified values are still not obtained, - replace instrument cluster

Coolant temperature display sender, checking

COOLANT TEMPERATURE DISPLAY SENDER

disconnect 35-point connector from instrument cluster

-

connect US 1119 between contact 26 and ground

-

measure resistance when eng. temp.                resistance

is approx.:
