Combustion Chamber Seal and Fuel Injector Support Ring

Work procedure

Remove fuel injectors: cylinders 2, 4, 6 => [ Fuel Rail and Injectors, for Cylinders 2, 4 and 6 ] See: Fuel Rail and Injectors, for Cylinders 2, 4 and
6, cylinders 1, 3, 5 => [ Fuel Rail and Injectors, for Cylinders 1, 3 and 5 ] See: Fuel Rail and Injectors, for Cylinders 1, 3 and 5.

Combustion Chamber Seal, Replacing

-

Carefully cut off old combustion chamber seal - arrow - with knife and remove, but do not touch valve body with tip of knife.

Carefully clean combustion chamber seal groove. Remove deposits (coking) with a brass wire brush.

Position new combustion chamber seal - 1 - on assembly cone (T10133/5).

Slide combustion chamber seal with assembly sleeve (T10133/6) as far as possible onto assembly cone (T10133/5).

‹› Assembly sleeve knurl faces toward combustion chamber seal.

Rotate assembly sleeve (T10133/6) and slide combustion seal onto assembly cone (T10133/5) as far as end.
