Condenser

‹› Condenser is available in different versions, depending on version of vehicle.

‹› Removed condenser contains refrigerant oil which must be restored to the refrigerant system. 

Removing

-

Discharge A/C refrigerant system

-

Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser => [ Refrigerant Lines for Condenser ] See: Hose/Line HVAC/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Refrigerant Lines for Condenser. 

‹› Close all open lines and connections on condenser with suitable caps (avoid dirt and moisture from entering the system).

Remove upper radiator cover and fan shroud with coolant fans.

Disengage radiator - A - (water cooler) from lock carrier - C - and swivel radiator with coolant lines connected as far downward as possible
(disengage and tilt, do not remove radiator, do not open cooling circuit)

‹› Radiator is locked on left and right sides with clips (press clips against locking mechanism - arrow - to remove).

‹› Radiator is secured to lock carrier with bolts - 2 - on left and right sides.
