Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

Front Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Drip Tray For Workshop Crane (VAS 6208)

Removing

-

Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove fan shroud. Refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] See: Fan Shroud/Service and Repair. 

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove front coolant pipe from the engine and from the coolant pump. 

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Assembly Overview ] See: Coolant Pipes Assembly Overview. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace O-rings.

Clean and/or smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

-

Coat O-rings with coolant and install them.

Install fan shroud. Refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] See: Fan Shroud/Service and Repair.

Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.
