Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

Vibration damper, removing and installing

Ribbed belt, removing and installing.  See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair

Note:  It is not necessary to loosen the center bolt to remove the vibration damper.

Remove vibration damper.

When installing, the notch -arrow- in the vibration damper must be aligned with the locating lug on the toothed belt sprocket.

Install vibration damper.
-

Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
