Remove bolts -1-.
^
Loosen bolt -2-.
^
Pull toothed belt cover toward front and remove CMP housing.
^
Install bolt from seal extractor 2085/1.
^
Remove seal with seal extractor 2085 and bolt 2085/1.
Installing
^
Clean running and sealing surfaces.
^
Do not oil sealing lip before installing.
^
Install sleeve from tool 3241 on camshaft.
^
Install seal with sleeve 3241/1 and bolt 2085/1 until flush.
^
Install Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.
^
Connect connector for CMP sensor.
Tightening torques
Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Housing 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Ring 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Oil seal for left Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor, removing and installing
