Audi Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

Tighten mounting bolts, tie rods and steering gear to specified torque and secure.
Connect battery ground strap.
Start engine.
Check power steering fluid level; top off if necessary.
Check lines and hoses that were loosened for leaks.
Install air cleaner and hoses.
Install cross stabilizer.

Note:  When installing a new steering gear adjust toe
