Lift end of spoiler and carefully insert plastic wedge VAG 1474/5 (arrow) or equivalent under spoiler (raises spoiler enough to proceed with next
step).

Insert cutting wire behind the first stud (under spoiler as shown) assemble tool to cutting wire and pull wire cutting adhesive as in previous step to the
next stud (previously marked).

Remove cutting wire once you have reached the second stud.

Note:

Adhesive should not be in the area between the two inner studs.

Repeat cutting procedure on other end of spoiler starting at outside edge and working towards the center as previously described.

Once adhesive has been cut:

-

Slowly pull and remove spoiler.

Paint finish, inspecting

Inspect contact area for paint damage.

Note:

If the cutting wire has damaged the paint (scratched through) to the bare metal, the lid will need to be repainted at a body shop repair, facility
