Release screws (1). 

Tightening torque  24 00 5AZ

.

Remove bracket and heat shield.

Unclip lines (2).

Disconnect plug connector (1).

Disconnect plug connection (4). (120i and 320i only)

Release screws (2).

Remove retaining plate (3).

Tightening torque  24 00 4AZ

.

Release screw on right next to cable retaining plate with special
tool 00 9 010 .

Tightening torque, 24 00 1AZ

.

Note:

120i and 320i only

Pull plug (1) out of holder and disconnect.
