1 Series E81 120i (N46T) 3-door
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 24 00 4AZ
.
Cut through cable ties (1). (120i and 320i only)
Remove cover plate (2).
Grip clamping sleeve (1).
Loosen nut (2).
Detach retainer (3) downwards using a screwdriver.
Pull cable (4) out of holder.
Installation:
Adjust selector lever
Release screw (1).
Disconnect hydraulic lines (2) to transmission fluid cooler.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
