Replacing Left Or Right Side Member Cover for BMW 3 Series E36 318i (M44)
Note:
Location of B-pillar inner panel on side member cover.
Picture shows this prior to installation for better
demonstration.
Drill off welded spots in door opening front and rear.
Grind off welded seam of car jack take-up.
Drill off welded spots of cover for side member on underside.
Remove side member cover.
Clean, straighten and grind down mating surfaces.
