Checking compression of all cylinders (M41)
Removing glow plugs,
refer to 12 23 505
Remove master relay for Digital Diesel Electronics (DDE),
refer to MG 12, relay assignment on engine wiring harness
Completely screw in special tool 11 0 222 and gently tighten by
hand.
Compression plotter:
Fit special tool 11 0 221 and actuate starter until pressure
stops rising.
Compression pressure: all cylinders approximately the same
value,
refer to Technical Data
Note:
Special tool 11 0 160 can still be reused.
